About Us

Made with Aloha

Aloha! My name is Ally and I absolutely love rainbows:)

Growing up on the island of Maui, there were rainbows galore! Many of my designs draw inspiration from the gemstones and crystals abundant in my current home, the great PNW, and also from the fresh water pearls and essence of my island home. Here I incorporate both my love for color and delicate, gold jewelry into a few unique designs.

14K Gold Filled Jewelry

Why choose gold filled?

Gold filled vs. gold plated jewelry.

Gold filled jewelry contains 100% more gold than gold plated jewelry. Score!

Extra bonus; it is generally safe for wearers with sensitivities to common metals AND it’s tarnish resistant:)

What is gold filled jewelry?

Despite the name, gold filled jewelry refers to a process in which a layer of karat gold is heat and pressure bonded to a layer of base metal. This process keeps the metal tarnish resistant and creates a harder, more durable and less expensive option than solid gold.

Jewelry Care

  • Gemstones and gold chain can be delicate.

  • Be mindful when wearing, and when changing articles of clothing, not to lean on gems and/or pull on pieces.

  • Lightly clean pieces periodically with a very soft cloth or micro-fiber towel to remove any dust and/or residue that will inevitably build up over time on the 14K gold filled components and crystals.

.

  • If worn in the shower, quickly dry all gold components as well as possible to avoid fading.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals and/or wearing jewelry when swimming in a pool with lots of chlorine.

  • Gold is generally a soft metal, so it should be worn with care to avoid bending and scratching.

  • Store your jewelry in a soft bag or jewelry box to keep off dust and moisture in the environment.
